Summary
I had an idea and it's gotten a little out of hand. This is an au where Illidan escaped early and went east. That one thing has caused quite a bit of a ripple effect including but not limited to: Felwood being almost all of Darkshore and Ashenvale, the blood elves being treated better Or Else, Garithos being straight up murdered, and Sylvanas staying bound to Arthas for quite some time.
If you're joining us now and are only interested in the shipping stuff I'd recommend skipping ahead to A Golden Flame in the Forest. All the ones before that are explaining how Illidan came to be in the forest and how he came to be so different from canon Illidan but they're far from required reading. Some OCs come from the earlier fics but again, not required.

Summary
How can you miss what you don't Remember? Is what happens once Ingo goes back to the future and is 100% canon for this au.
The next fic, name tbd, is partially canon for what he's forgetting partly what could have been if he'd stayed.
The 1st one will have actual story and angst and all that good stuff. The 2nd one is more of an excuse to write very specific smut and have a mirror for the actual story. Gotta have some sweet to make the sour or salty really have the punch you want it to you know?
