Summary
When a phone call informing him of his father’s death sends him on an unexpected and unwanted trip back to his childhood home, Murdoc finds himself confronted with more questions about his origins than he ever could have anticipated. Who knew a couple of shoe boxes, left to gather dust in his father’s closet, could contain such heart-wrenching secrets. And why is 2D so invested? Post-canon. 2Doc.

Not done reading
Not a 2doc fan at all, this fanfiction is amazing though. Such a great concept and I'm jealous that I didn't think of it myself -

A queer subversion of Victor's Oedipal dream before the Creature comes to life, in which he struggles with homosexual feelings for his best friend and decides to be metaphorically cannibalistic and ex-Catholic about it.

Details transform into hazy pictures—as dreams have their tendency to do—making it thus that the only remaining image that I could discern was you. You and I, our bodies merging into each other, a fervent, ceaseless amalgamation, as if in some urgent biological union, so that I was you and you were I, my breath as your breath, your thoughts as my thoughts, my skin as your skin.

Summary
Vincent has lost everything, his fame, his accomplishments, his entire life. Loss can drive a man to become something he'd never thought he'd be, like hopelessly in love with the man who saved his afterlife.
Alastor has become everything to him, his rock, his mentor, his best friend, and his one true love. Of course, Alastor doesn't know that, Vox is hesitant to admit it to even himself. But as the years pass, Vox realizes that of all the spoils Hell has to offer, he'll always choose Alastor.
—^—^—
The 1950s are a dull decade for Alastor, until a TV-headed stranger falls at his feet. Curiosity can drive a man to do things he'd never thought he'd do, like drag a wounded man home and nurse him back to health.
Vox becomes more than just an amusement to Alastor, their shared experiences and love for entertainment bonds them closer than he ever would have expected. Closer than he's comfortable with. And as the years pass, Alastor realizes that if he has to choose between Vox's companionship and his own wellbeing, he'll always choose himself.Bookmarked by TheNamesAl

Summary
Gray laughed softly, a sound like sunlight glinting on a placid pond; but something beneath it stirred, a shadowy creature that made Alan glance twice, certain he had imagined it. 'Your ideas do intrigue me, Campbell. Perhaps your science has its own seductions. Perhaps we might exchange rites: you teach me a little of that chemistry you so treasure, and I will show you the pleasures of art.'
Alan welcomed any pretext to linger in Gray's company. 'I suppose I might…help instruct you, in that way.'
'Wonderful! I do believe we are to be very good friends, Alan,' said Gray. Then, with a touch of almost boyish hesitation, he added, 'If I may call you that.'
What Dorian Gray threatened Alan Campbell with was this: not ruin, but love.
