Summary
Sadayo Kawakami has very little to lose, going into her second year of high school in a new city. Her life stands on a crumbling precipice, and things only seem to start falling apart faster with a mysterious app on her phone dragging her to strange other-worlds with shadowy monsters. The spark of rebellion in her heart might just end up being the thing that lets her reach her hand out to the used and betrayed women of society, but even that may prove futile when man and god alike stand against them.
A story about what it means to be a woman, by birth or by choice, in a society designed to crush them underfoot. Also a story about comfort in love, companionship, and family crafted with effort and care.
