A frequent, persisting nightmare about the humans abstracting startles Caine from his sleep. Even more strange is the fact that Pomni seems to be the one he fears losing the most for some reason. But...why? Needing reassurance that she was okay, he goes to check on her as she sleeps, inadvertently figuring out the answer to his question.
