Summary
In hindsight, Apollo doesn't know why he agreed to this. Such is his life now, he supposes. He's being led by Darcy Graves into a graveyard, and he's pointedly not scared. Not even one bit. He's used to visiting cemeteries— or at least, one specific cemetery in particular. The main difference being the one he frequented back home was private, gated, and full of lavish mausoleums fit to house Ixian royalty. Plus, he always visited in the daytime. This one is full of random people, and Darcy says that the dead here can talk. Not only that, but it's the later hours of the night and they're shrouded in darkness. Apollo doesn't think the dead will talk to him, not really, but Darcy looked so excited at the prospect of him seeing a place she loves so much that he bit his tongue and agreed to come. He'd never seen her excited before, so curiosity truly killed the cat.
Or: Apollo agrees to visit a graveyard with his lab partner in an attempt to commune with the dead. He ends up in over his head with one of his best kept secrets exposed, but maybe it's not so bad if Darcy keeps holding his hand.
