He had tan skin and long, blonde hair arranged in a braid. But what really caught Roy’s attention were his eyes: bright, intelligent golden eyes that followed his every move. The stranger’s mouth hung open, like he was seeing a ghost, his right hand flexing on his lap, hidden from view by the white glove he wore.
His aunt left his side to join Mr. White and Lilly, speaking loudly to drown his remarks about how ‘exquisite’ the girl’s figure was, but Roy wasn’t paying them any attention. He only had eyes for the mysterious man.
