Baizhu had been expecting for his life to change; for his hard work and lifelong studying to payoff with a comfortable position in Liyue's elaborate palace, wanting for nothing. He expected rest and comfort for his ailing body, and to maybe one day find a cure for his affliction.
What Baizhu hadn't been expecting at the start of spring was a dragon in the body of a man to stumble into his life and turn his world upside down.
