“You’re not cursed. What you are is repressed. Don’t worry, there’s a cure. Go out and have some hot, awesome sex with someone who makes you feel good, and keep doing it until you stop feeling like you don’t deserve to feel that.” Buffy ponders it; she can’t be repressed, really. Repression is for, like, ex-Mormons and lapsed Catholics, and the crosses Buffy wears are more to do with the walking undead than any higher power.
Or, Buffy is cursed. She thinks Spike might be able to help.

Summary
The Slayer connection pulls them back together no matter how they try to tug apart, running between them like an invisible thread. Faith gets the feeling that sometimes Buffy wants to strangle her with it.
