Summary
The original XYZ Pokemon anime is very good and I’ve decided to rewrite it in a bit more of a serious tone with multiple plotlines added, both new and old.
I will be following the anime as a “skeleton” of sorts however I will be taking liberties to add into the story in ways I see fit.If are hoping for something a bit more serious in tone with an overarching plot and a bit more of a mature tone then this rewrite should satisfy that craving with multiple story arcs.
If you’ve ever read the early Pokemon adventures manga stuff, the tone is similar to that.

Shadow comes to realise that the future can be scary, uncertain and surprising. Nothing is ever easy for him and he’s just fed up with it all at this point.
However he made a promise, that he would protect everyone of the planet, even if they don’t see it as such… and he’s not planning on breaking it.

Summary
This is a rewrite of the entire series which includes every mainline game and some spin-offs of my choosing in which I feel is relevant.
I try to write good characterisation for my versions of these characters but a rule I have is that every character must have their base personality that I build upon and develop as a basis to avoid anyone acting out of character.
Timeline…Now before you click away this doesn’t sound as bad as it actually is, I’m actually talking about the games timeline, games may be out of order but it will make sense and one games story may lead right into another in the next chapter.
The normal game story is always going to be the basis of every story minus Sonic 1&2 since there’s no real story other than “stop robotnik”. Stories will be changed to compensate for my tone, this includes making every story link and become more cohesive.
Ships will not be a focus at all, sure I may tease some of my preferred choices however it won’t directly be a focus point since it takes away from the rules I’ve set out for myself in this rewrite.- Words:
