Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
"Keep up the good fight, it's worth it."
Those had been Emre's last words to her before he left Overwatch. When Freja found him years later, he was a completely different person, a far cry from the man she had once known, being controlled by an unknown force and betraying all of the morals he had once held in such high regard.
Emre has nothing but fragments of memory that tell him his own story, forced to be a prisoner in his own mind. His memories play through like a film being rolled, and he can do nothing but accept his fate.
