Summary
After Daniel leaves for Los Angeles, Peggy is left in New York with the ever annoying Jack Thompson. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, Peggy had been dealing with Jack for years. But when one night shift changes the nature of their relationship, Peggy has to confront a few things about herself and her feelings towards both men.
Jack doesn't care that Daniel left because of his feelings for Peggy. He doesn't care that he has to see Peggy everyday and Sousa isn't even there as a buffer. He doesn't care that being around Peggy makes his head a little cloudy and his knees a little weak. He doesn't care that Peggy is beautiful and he has to work a night shift with her. And he certainly doesn't care that she likes Sousa so much.

The hotel they're staying in has very thin walls. And after Marinette wakes up screaming due to a nightmare, Adrien might just be the thing she really needs to soothe her heart and mind.
I posted a shorter, dumber version of this fic a while back on a dare, and I felt the idea deserved a little bit of flushing out. So here it is.

And his extended Avenger family loves him. So all is right with the world. Until a special field trip to Stark Tower is announced. The worst part, it's on the day that everyone is coming in for celebrating the holidays. Needless to say, Peter hates his life.
