Summary
Hades and Poseidon have put a vote to the Council of the Gods: removal of the non-interference rules for Percy, Annabeth, and Nico. Tartarus is no place for mortals, and it is clear that the three of them are buckling under the lingering shadows of The Pit. It passes near unanimously - the Council pays their debts, and journeying to the worst place in existence is well worth respite and recovery.
Percy, unfortunately, is immediately sidetracked. Why is Zeus poisoned? Why has no one noticed before him? Who is insane enough to slip something in Zeus’s drink? And why is this his problem? Is he really going to have to break his promise to Annabeth not to control poison again?
***This work will undergo random line edits until the final chapter is posted. Nothing that'll change the plot, just fixing spelling/sentence structure/making the tense consistent.***

Summary
“Yo ‘Rach,” Percy paused his faces and blew on Estelle to tickle her tiny curls. “Are you going to let me help with your painting project?”
“As a last resort, maybe.” She laughed, “as much as I love how you want to help, last time you got close to a ladder, you fell off it three times.”
Percy had a face full of false outrage that cracked as Estelle laughed with delight. “Discrimination!” he yelped, playfully raising his hand and wagging a finger. “I was pushed.”

Summary
"I dunno, I just think it would make a lot of things easier for a lot of people," Percy said to Thalia, when she just stared at him. His cheek rested in his hand, a rare pensive look leaving his eyes distant and unfocused. "Mom has Paul now, so it’ll be easier on her if she doesn’t have to worry about me mucking things up. Dad won’t have to keep threatening war every time Zeus gets his toga twisted. The prophecy’s done, so I won’t be bringing it down on Nico. And no one will have to worry about me blowing up another volcano."

Summary
He hated this nightmare (memory -his traitorous mind insisted). It was bad enough that his actions against the goddess had made Annabeth fear him, had ended his relationship. She had told Piper, and Piper had told the others. It hadn't taken long for word to spread throughout both camps, and now he had to deal with wary gazes and hesitant distance between him and almost everyone else. That should have been punishment enough, but clearly not, because he had to relive it almost every night.

Summary
“You are not the greatest hero to have ever lived.” Athena continues, each word like a stake driven into Annabeth’s torso. “There are three beings who could make that claim with the evidence to back it up and two of them are gods. The third will eventually become one. You are not one of the greatest heroes. You are a good hero, maybe even a great one. It is your pride and arrogance to claim otherwise.”
A bonfire of anger roars to life inside her. After all the quests, the battles, all the sweat, blood and tears she has shed. For Athena. For the gods. For Olympus. How dare Athena stand there in her perfect white toga on the perfect city Annabeth designed that only continues to exist because Annabeth fought for it. How dare she.
