Summary
When the Tardis detects a deterioration in the time vortex, the Eighth Doctor swears that he's not getting involved. He's just looking. Well, maybe he'll interfere just a touch. Just a touch. The rest is up to the Time Lords.
But when interfering just a touch results in Gandalf the White stepping through the anomaly, the Doctor realises he's going to have to get completely involved again, if only to get Gandalf back home—only a few questions.
Who is behind the anomaly, and why can't the Doctor shake the feeling of growing darkness? Who is Gandalf, and why does he seem so familiar? And how are they going to stop him from taking over the planet?

Summary
"All beings begin their lives with hopes and aspirations. Among these aspirations is the desire that there will be a straight path to those goals. It is seldom so. Perhaps never. Sometimes the turns are of one’s own volition, as one’s thoughts and goals change over time. But more often the turns are mandated by outside forces. It was so with me."
Thrawn did not understand the Force. He knew it existed, and in the past year he'd had more opportunities than ever before to learn about it, but he still didn't understand it. Perhaps he never would. But one thing he did understand, as he wandered the halls of the Jedi Temple, studied in its archives, and begrudgingly spoke with its people, was that the Force clearly had a sense of irony.
Or, Thrawn is trapped among the Jedi and becomes an unwilling member of the Jedi Order.

Summary
Here I was making a lovely little fanfiction when I come to the sickening realisation that very little information exists on how intergalactic affairs manage biology, and biological findings over hundreds of completely different systems and cultures. So what do I do? Cry? Well yes, but then I get to work :D because I am a scientist like Carlos and I like organisation.
The following is my attempt to rationalise how the star wars universe might create a central system for sharing and organising scientific findings across all the different planets. Eventually, it'll be coherent enough to actually base my characters' story off of it. Stay tuned to watch me lose my mind in variables.

Summary
“I don’t have a lightsaber, so I can’t practice fighting,” Ezra pointed out. “I don’t have any sacred texts to study. You definitely don’t know anything about the Force, so…”
Thrawn’s shoulder twitched in what might have been a minute shrug. “You could read my mind,” he said.
At first, Ezra didn’t fully register those words. He interpreted them metaphorically, classified it as a somewhat odd thing for Thrawn to say, and dismissed it. Then Thrawn glanced up, his red eyes burning into Ezra’s, and suddenly Ezra realized he’d missed something.
“Read your mind?” he repeated.

Summary
A dissection of magic as used by Men in Middle-earth. This is a possible explanation for the inner workings of Arda's magic and a way for a magical mortal user to use magic while still feeling plausible within what evidence that canon presents. For reference for anyone looking to explore the race of Men using magic in their derivative works taking place in Middle-earth.
