Summary
Trafalgar D Water Law is a graviturgy mage and healer living in the jungles of Green Bit. He tends to the victims hiding from the cruel machinations of the minor god of (tyrannical) order, Doflamingo. And then one day all light disappears from the sky, blanketing the island in darkness. Law is witness to a fallen blaze of light that crash lands into the jungle.
Law wasn't expecting to find a person in that crater. And he certainly wasn't expecting saving that person to change everything.

Summary
There are very few things that can invoke fear the way magic does. It is a powerful thing used only by monsters and demons. Though... some believe there are those who are granted magical abilities as well, born from the gods themselves. As such, these beings are given the name demigods. These stories, however don't scare Angus McDonald. There isn't much reason for him to, being a dragon himself. And, when he comes across a collection of research logs on demigods and their various abilities, he immediately finds himself enthralled with the underlying mystery contained in them. The author of these logs was looking for something, or someone. Not to mention the mystery of how Taako came to acquire them. Or why the books seem to mean so much to this wandering chef?

He keeps moving forward at a steady pace, resisting the urge to run because how fucking embarrassing would that be, running because he missed them, and as he breaks through the treeline he shouts, “Oi, oi—what took you guys so long? It's been—”
And then he freezes, because yes, actually—something is very, very wrong.
The Sunny is anchored just off shore, close enough to see the deck but far enough away that the crew has had to take the Mini Merry to make land. Scattered across the beach in various stages of chaos—rolling around, yelling, fighting—are his crew but not his crew, so similar and yet so, so different. They look younger, fresher, and whatthefuck there, on the deck of the Sunny just peering over the railing, he catches a flash of green—his own green hair—
“Ah, fuck,” he grunts, and then immediately turns back around because no, actually, he does not want to deal with this.
