"So..." Vi began. "Thank you again. For actually talking to me."
"I’d say this is thanks to a certain thief who stole my number, if I recall..."
"Fuck." Vi covered her face with both hands, dragging them down hard enough to pull at her cheeks, voice muffled. "Give me a break."
OR:College life/Swimming AU:
Caitlyn Kiramman doesn't do messy. Vi Lanes is messy, infuriating, and the best swimmer Caitlyn's ever seen. Teaming up is a tactical move. Letting her see the cracks in the foundation? A catastrophic miscalculation.Bookmarked by To_calm_a_llama

Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman thought she’d moved on from Piltover—and from Vi. But one night back in town brings her face-to-face with the girl who used to be her everything. Over drinks and old memories, Caitlyn and Vi confront the sparks they never fully put out. Because no matter how far you run, some unfinished business always catches up with you.
AU.
This is a Vi redemption story—because I love angst, bad decisions, and the emotional mess of trying to fix them.

Summary
“What are you doing?” the woman asked, breath catching.
“Still being bold,” Vi said, her grin returning as her fingers closed around the woman’s hand. “And hoping you’ll remember tonight… in case it is just a passing moment and I don’t ever see you again.”
The woman opened her mouth, but no words came. Vi noticed the parts of her features not obstructed from the mask looked softer.
Vi leaned in slightly, close, but not yet touching. “Unless you don’t want to see each other again.”
The woman’s fingers flexed gently against Vi’s, holding her stare.
“I wouldn’t dream of that,” she said softly.

Summary
“Caitlyn.”
“Oh,” Jinx says knowingly, glancing Vi’s way out of the corner of her eye. “That’s the, uh, the cop girl, right? Maddie’s ex?”
A chorus of mutters and nods is the response.
“I’m being warned about her,” Vi tells her sister and Jinx blows her bangs out of her face.
“Good,” she says, almost snappishly. “Yeah, don’t date cop girl. You should date someone cool.”
“I’m not going to date anyone, not for a while. I need to get back on my feet first,” says Vi, drumming her fingers against the condensation of the glass. Thinking of Cupcake in her contacts, and that teasing smile.
Everything in Vi’s life right now is starting over. She’s spending the holidays on her sister’s pull-out futon, trying to make sense of the avalanche of changes, salvage what’s left of her family and figure out what she’s going to do next. The last thing she expects to do is include the beautiful woman she runs into on her first day in town, or this Caitlyn that everyone’s warning her to stay away from.
