Summary
Askeladd is proud to have his life completely under control. But the death of distant relatives puts an end to his carefully planned daily routine. Suddenly he has to take care of six-year-old Thorfinn, who is anything but an angel and has made a firm resolution to not like Askeladd. When it is revealed to him there is another little boy searching for a new home, the chaos is perfect. For Canute does not even speak the same language as he does.

Summary
Bjorn was dead. No doubt about it. But as soon as Askeladd and Thorfinn finished their duel Bjorn seems to have miraculously returned to life. A little later, strange things start happening in Gainsborough. Nightly attacks on people, bite wounds scattered all over their bodies and never healing injuries puzzle Askeladd, Thorfinn and Canute. Will they figure out what's going on? What does Bjorn have to do with all of this? And will all of them come through these events unscathed?

Summary
The sound of footsteps in the snow made Canute jump in shock. When he turned around, he saw that Thorfinn had stepped behind him. Obviously bored, he picked up one of the discarded twigs and began to listlessly scrape the bark off with one of his daggers.
"Will you lend me the second one?", Canute asked.
Thorfinn stared at him as if he had asked him if the snow was white.
Canute cleared his throat. "I mean your second dagger."
Thorfinn snorted.
"I know what you mean. But I'm certainly not putting a weapon in your hand, princess."
_______The villagers are dead and Canute can't find peace of mind until they have been given a proper resting place.

This is bullshit. Daniel has spent two years persistently dialling Armand’s mental phone number in the vampire psychic network, and after two years of getting the equivalent of ‘the number you’re trying to reach no longer exists,’ he bumps into his maker in a dinky little repair shop. In Canada. Smelling like—this is where Daniel must be going crazy, because Armand smelled like a human in there. An unremarkable, blood-filled, regular human, with notes of stale sweat and artificial lemon detergent.
Which part of the vampiric telenovela that makes up Daniel’s life is this again?
(OR, the fic where Armand shows up again as a human, but Daniel's still a vampire, and then they do role-reversal Devil's Minion nonsense)

This is gone off the rails right off the deep end. Did anyone actually arrest him, or did he break in for this little tableau? How dramatic do you have to be?
“Hey, c’mon.” Daniel says, snapping his fingers. “Let’s go, pal. I’m busting you out of here.”

“Aww, thanks, Schneider,” says Dad with absolutely toxic politeness that suggests he and the guy have butted heads before, which, yeah, that tracks with Dad’s mission to make everyone in his profession hate him.
He holds his leather jacket open for a photo, and yup, the shirt says EAT THE RICH in red, slightly shimmering letters. Cute.
“Nice.” The pap snaps some pics. “So how does that square with your billionaire — sorry, multi-millionaire — boytoy over there?”
“One, I’m the boytoy here, and two, you should have seen what I did to him earlier today.”
Okay, Lauren’s not hungry any more. Jesus Christ, Dad.
