Matt wishes that the Avenger's assumptions about his seeming inability to read the written word did something as benign as making an ass of him and them. Being called illiterate shouldn't hurt, not when he knows he's not, and it's not like he can tell them the truth.

Minho shook his head.
“Changed that leaky faucet in the guest bedroom?”
Minho shook his head.
“Used your vacation days at work?”
Minho shook his head.
“What the fuck, Lee Minho, what have you been doing these past five years?”
“Enjoying this city without you in it, mostly.”
Minho stared.
Changbin stared.
The waitress silently sat down their main dishes, warily looking between them.
Minho’s first piece of meat went into Changbin’s bowl, and the small, ensuing grin said ‘thank you’ when neither of them wanted to break their silly stand-off first.
So much had changed that Minho didn’t say—a joke always more tempting than the truth—but what remained constant only became clear to him now. Minho had spent the last five years undeniably bored.

He knows that Minho must be thinking about him, too. His presence is so heavy between them that Changbin could choke on it. Sometimes, Changbin expects to feel Jisung’s fingers playing in his hair, and nearly jumps when he opens his eyes and it’s Minho’s delicate hands on the base of his neck instead. Sometimes, when Minho kisses him, Changbin peeks open the eye closest to the door, just to make sure Jisung isn’t leaning in the entryway, watching.
