Summary
I made this a while ago and am uploading it on a whim, it can be considered as a writing exercise or byproduct of my existence. Pretty small, not much to describe that isn’t in the title. Specifically it’s the scene in which hop pop explains Wartwood traditions, and a little bit of the magazine scene.

Summary
Couldn’t think of a better title, though my working title|subtitle was “in the tunnel of love|not as nice as it sounds”. Anyway yeah this is just the “why won’t you just let me go?” “Because I just got you back ok?!” scene but Anne has a trauma vision in the middle. Similar to a flashback, but she’s not flashing back to something that actually happened. Someone get this girl some therapy.

Featuring plenty of artwork from all kinds of talented fans, several ongoing arguments, some early proofreading from the lovely AddisonNoxy of "Stormy Dreams" fame, headcanon discourse, overcomplicated worldbuilding, fear, irresponsibility, angst, disease, a 140-song playlist featuring some tracks by the unbelievable GlassesFreekJr, and possible clownfish romance. Takes place roughly a year or so before the events of Splatoon 3.
Although writing for this project began before Splatoon 3's release, "EiG:BSF" has been labeled 'canon compliant' to the Splatoon series after extensive research and confirmation. Previously updated on Saturdays.

This right here is the crown jewel of splatoon fics for me right now as it epitomizes the core of what I want out of writing, deep and extremely intriguing characters with an interesting plot & worldbuilding, and an ungodly amount of length. I kid you not this will be surpassing the word count of OG homestuck (before “postcanon” content) very soon in the coming weeks or months. It’s one of the joys of my life to read this and I’m proud to say that.

Summary

This one’s a bit of an oldie by now, but no less of a Goldie for the phrase to properly apply. Been a long time since I read this, but it stuck with me. Of note is that while this is technically a ‘smash bros’ fic, it’s moreso a crossover fic between some of the constituent properties involved in smash bros itself then it is a smash bros specific fic. Which does work to it’s benefit! Just because something is rare doesn’t mean it isn’t good.

Summary
Both Inklings and Octolings know of Inkopolis as a city of possibilities and beginnings, where the sun shines and music is played in every heart. Though their presence hasn't been made public knowledge yet, more and more Octolings are migrating to the City of Colors alongside young squids who want a piece of the dream for themselves.
But some find that the road to their dreams is much stormier than they anticipated.
Hook is a young Inkling boy from a small town who's hoping to make it big on the turf. Maya is an Octoling deserter who's fleeing from her past, trying to start a new life under the sky.
They, and many others, will have many obstacles to overcome before they can realize their dreams.
