Suitcase once had it. She once had the light that gave her life, Jesus. But now, now she’s leaning over her window wanting all the pain to stop. How could she let something she worked so hard for slip through her fingers like that?
Everyone claims she ‘has something to lose’ but no body knows that she already lost it all. Including control of her mind. The demons that terrorizing her every day own her.
But she has to act like she’s ok. Just begging for something to take her out. Not wanting to ask God for help. She thinks he is furious with her. But she tries to numb the pain with her boyfriend, knife. Thinking he is the only good thing in her life now. What if she loses him to?
Can she restore her faith? Does Jesus still hear her? Yes. All through the cuts and tears, He really truly never left. But just waited for her to come back, patiently.
‘Please God. I’m calling out to you because I know I still need you.’ I sob uncontrollably as my fingers tangle between my hair. Pulling it as my knees stay close to my chest.
