  Martin was currently sat on his bench in the park.

  It looked over where the panopticon used to be, of course that was a long time ago. It’s been years and the world has changed a lot since then. He’d kept himself away from the others, believing that making sure everyone who used to know him thought he was dead would be a lot easier. Because, in a way, that was true.

  Part of him died the day the panopticon exploded.

  Summary

  Hot burning tears continued to fall as he attempted to muffle his crying and render his shaking body still. He didn't want to hurt him, that wasn't him, it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't- But it was his body. His hands. HIS Actions. HIS KNIFE, HIS-
  “....Ed…..?” The voice was soft, cautious.
  “Ed? Oh my beloved, what's wrong?” That innocent question accompanied with a soft touch on his forearm caused Ed to jump.
  Crap. Had he woken up Stede with his gasping? His muttering? Only then did he come to realise how poor of a job he was doing at trying to muffle his sobs. His hand barely covering his mouth, tears and snot streaming down his face in wet clumps and streaky lines causing his features to puff up red and swollen, undeniably putting his emotions on display. Stede hesitates before reaching down with a soft but firm hold on Ed's arm “My dear, please look at me”.
