Summary
Twi has never had a problem with the other heroes' odd behaviors. Sure, Time has a tendency to repeat the word "milk" when he's stressed, and Wild usually stares people straight in the eye for way too long, and Legend tends to get destructive when he's feeling crowded, and Four's pica only seems to get worse every time they take whatever metal thing he's absently put in his mouth out again, but that's just them. It's how they are, and there's nothing wrong with that.
He fails to connect this with the fidgeting he habitually quiets in himself, allowing the tension to build rather than easing it.
Fortunately, the other Links are on the watch for ways to help him remember how to self-soothe when he needs to.
Even if it's turning out to be more of a stealth mission than they expected.Series

“I would say no, because that’s impossible, but that actually makes sense,” the boy says, giving the idea legitimate thought. “What year is it?” The boy asks.
“It’s 614,” Link replies without missing a beat. The boy blinks.
“Okay, so that’s not the year at all. Try 1394.”
“I fucking time traveled.” Link groans, hiding his face in his hands. “I didn’t even touch the Harp of Ages. How the fuck did I time travel?” He pauses. “And that’s almost eight centuries ahead of my time, too.”
“Man, the old documents were way off,” the boy mumbles under his breath. “They said six centuries before they were all destroyed.”Series

For the most part, they had been able to puzzle out the meaning to their names. Not Link, of course, but their titles, what they were known as.
Warriors had been a little hurt, honestly, when they had looked at his uniform, his weapons, and called him “Captain”, before moving on.
He was a soldier. He knew he looked like one, acted like one, proudly carried the colors of his nation like one.
Still, it was a wonder why no one had questioned why his heroic title wasn’t “Soldier”.
