Summary
With Delilah dead and the Empress' daughter saved, Daud believed his mission was complete. But fate had other plans. The Knife of Dunwall suddenly finds himself on Remnant without allies, resources, and his powers. Meanwhile, Headmaster Ozpin is drawn into the Void by the Outsider, the black-eyed deity who whispers of the incoming storm that will shake apart world peace and gifts Ozpin a mystery — the name “Daud”.
Determined to avert disaster, Ozpin locates the lost assassin in Vale. He offers to help Daud rekindle the Outsider's Mark, providing a chance to start anew as a security guard at Beacon Academy. Under strict surveillance, Daud must protect and guide the next generation of Huntsmen against a looming threat, while hiding the darkness of his past. Although he knows he doesn't deserve a second chance after all he's done, Daud will do anything to hold onto it, no matter the cost.
