Summary
Shortly after midnight, Bilbo Baggins crept through the halls of Erebor like the burglar he was. If most burglars tended to wear a little more than a dressing gown, it was only because most burglars were out to steal more than a few minutes alone.
Bilbo sneaks into the baths at night, hoping for a chance to wash up privately. Fortunately, his plans go awry when he sees Thorin already bathing alone. After watching the king for a while, he overcomes his hesitation and joins his friend.

A take on The Hobbit and LOTR, wherein Bilbo is a little more outspoken, and has some self-confidence.
The tale follows Bilbo's journey to Erebor, and then to Mordor. Along the way he makes friends, enemies, fights for his life, and may even fall in love. Falling for an immortal presents a few difficulties though; is love really enough?

Summary
Thorin has been struggling between rebuilding the home he fought so hard to reclaim and dealing with the hardships the war had wrought upon him physically and mentally. However, he is sure about one thing: his desire to court the hobbit of his heart. Of course, nothing can ever be simple for the newly established dwarf king as an old friend from the past returns, and while Thorin wants to help him, watching Marlok grow closer to Bilbo threatens to sour any rekindling of their friendship.
