Summary
Ilya Rozanov leaves Russia at the age of 11. He moves to Ottawa with his mother to start a new life. He finds new joy in hockey, in friends, and learns what true happiness means. So when he's forced to leave hockey everything falls apart. Friends leave, along with his love for the game.
Shane Hollander, the hockey prodigy, the golden boy with the utmost potential weaves his way through hockey tournaments and scouts. He didn't care about most things. Friends were put on the back burner, while hockey became his most prized possession. Which is why when he willingly walks away from the game, it creates a frenzy.
When Shane Hollander ends up working at the same café as Ilya Rozanov, their forced to work through their issues, and face their biggest fears. During late closing shifts and after school tutoring sessions they learn to find who they are without hockey.
But sometimes the closing shift, is all you need.

Summary
Eddie can’t say he understands that aspect of it, but he does know what it’s like to lose someone who had a huge impact on his life. Bobby for one, but also Shannon.
Eddie lowers his gaze, trying to catch Buck’s eyes. He looks up once he realizes Eddie’s trying to look at him.
“Well, I moved here for Shannon,” Eddie pauses, keeping his gaze locked on Buck “but I found something better.”

For the first time in days, his mind freezes like a deer in headlights. The words get caught on his tongue. And as his eyes trace every inch of himself back in the mirror, he can see the realization in the eyes staring back. In the eyebrows furrowed downward. In the frown that seemed to be permanently plastered there.
Because the person staring back at him in the mirror isn’t him. It couldn’t be, right? Because Buck was always the happy one. The first person to smile in every room. The person who laughs at every bad joke. He tries to picture the guy in the mirror smiling back at him, but his brain can’t come up with anything. Almost like the guy in the mirror has never smiled a day in his life.
The mirror reflects the face he wears, but he can’t remember when it became someone he couldn’t recognize.

Summary
Evan Buckley is grieving his late captain when he makes a wish. Something that he can't take back. He wakes up the next day in a weirdly familiar house, and quickly realizes he's 26 again. He's woken up in a universe where Bobby is alive. Maddie is still with Doug. And him and Eddie haven't met. Buck tries to figure out a way to get back home, leading him to face the truth he so desperately wants hide from.

Buck wishes he never met Bobby so that his death wouldn't hurt so much. The universe grants his wish, but it comes with consequences!

Summary
Buck never meant for it to get this bad. He didn't even realize when it started to become a problem. First it was just when the pain was really bad. Then it was when he felt sore. He just wanted to stop the pain before it got too bad. But now the pain is gone and yet here he is, popping pills like he’d die if he didn’t.
He tried to convince himself that it wasn’t a problem. That it wasn’t as bad as it seems, but the words come out sour. It stains his brain like a raging headache.
Then came the lying. And the guilt. And soon enough two pills weren’t enough to numb the ache in his chest. It wasn’t enough to stop the shame he felt building up in his gut. He knew Bobby would be disappointed in him. How could he not? He was disappointed in himself.
Everyone thought he was fine. He’d pick out a few smiles he’d wear in the morning and let it play out through the day. It was believable to everyone. Everyone except Eddie. He could see past the fake smiles, and the senseless excuses. He always did. It’s something Buck was always grateful for. Before Buck started lying his ass off, now it just seemed to make him more on edge.
