But that was the exact problem, nothing was happening he was still just Will, and no presentation meant he was a beta. The idea of talking about his disappointment was scary, and the idea of telling anyone, even his sister, how much he longed to be an omega seemed painful, like he was actually admitting that he was never meant to be an one, and that all of his instincts had been wrong."

Will Byers is turning 17 very soon, and for him that means he is a beta. He's made it this far without presenting, but still is holding out some hope that he will present as an omega. Being an omegas always made the most sense for him, and best of all if he were an omega he may have a chance with his best friend.
