Jayce quiets, briefly. The apples of his cheeks gently flush, warm and pink, and he subconsciously tucks the stack of clipboards a bit closer to his chest.

Summary
"When," Viktor corrects. "I believe the question is, when did they come from?"
Jayce blinks. "I'm sorry," he says, turning his head to find Viktor already looking at him with those ever-curious eyes, "Are you suggesting that we broke time?"
The implication alone makes Jayce's head spin.
Viktor's face scrunches up the way it does when he's debating a probability, his brown pinched and nose twitching like one of their little lab rats as his head tips to one side.
"Eh, 'broke' is a strong word."
-or- Early in their partnership, Jayce and Viktor manage to break time and meet their future selves. Chaos ensues.
