Summary

The two must come together to cancel their arranged marriage, but with a month to wait, will the princes have a change of heart? Secrets will be revealed and feelings will be realised, but not everything is as simple as it should be.

He's still scared out of his mind, still wants to plead and cry and run away, but deep down he knows that there's no stopping this.
Tachibana has clearly made up his mind and has taken Hitoshi latest infringement as a good enough reason to finally follow through.
It's been a while since the last beating, after all, and Hitoshi had been wondering when Tachibana would get that itch again.
The answer is very clearly right in front of him.

Summary

Then, Aizawa Shouta, an underground pro hero, enrolls his adoptive son, four year-old Shinsou Hitoshi, a boy who's been kicked out of every other daycare and school he's been put in since the development of his brainwashing quirk. Hizashi is more than happy to have him in his school, especially since Hizashi was born with a 'dangerous' quirk himself, and he quickly finds out that he has a soft spot for this kid and a serious liking towards his father that he has to learn to deal with.

Isn’t it fascinating how everything Hitoshi has always dreamed of has turned out to be a nightmare?
He almost wishes it started off as a nightmare.
Because how can he relax into those soft embraces, fingers running lovingly through his hair, when he knows how quickly gentle can turn into harsh tugs?

Hitoshi lets out a small sigh of relief as he unwinds the capture weapon from his neck. It's not like it's any true danger to him—he's learning to handle it and Aizawa would never let anything happen to him, but it's still around his neck and even though it's not a noose by design, there's always the possibility of an accident.
An accident that leaves the cloth tight around his neck, that cuts off Hitoshi's air, makes him choke—
He really has to stop thinking about this, he reminds himself quickly because his breath is already coming out shakier than it was before and Aizawa is still right there.

This wouldn't have been an issue if it had been any other day.
Hizashi would have seen the signs of someone following him. He would have noticed the shadow following his path, would have seen the person in his peripheral, and the soft footsteps would have been picked up by his hearing aids. He might have had a faster reaction time too, and wouldn't have let them use their quirk to get him to comply.
He certainly wouldn’t be trapped here, muzzled and hands bound behind his back, locked in an unknown room only god knows where.
But it wasn't any other day; Hizashi hadn't picked up on the signs.
