College AU
Emily goes to a party to humour Derek. She doesn't want to be at this stupid party. But, when a sweet blonde girl confides in her on the porch, Emily can't help but wonder if she shouldn't stop flirting with straight girls in dirty basements and JJ wonders if her long term boyfriend, Will, is ‘the one’.
Emily and JJ meet three times: twice by accident and once on purpose (sort of). Each time, they get to know one another a little better.

Summary
Congratulations, you’ve stumbled across where I am going to collect oneshots that’s fit in the universe I created with The Sparrow Case. You could totally read these in isolation. Just know that JJ and Will got divorced while JJ was pregnant with Michael. JJ (mid breakdown) ‘temporarily’ moved in with Emily and they just sort of… ended up together. No fireworks. No drama (well a little bit of crisis - but pretty low key).

Summary

JJ and Emily have been dancing around each other, slowly growing into something more than they were before. But before they can work out exactly what, a case demands them to put everything on hold, and to attempt to navigate strong emotions and growing affections while trying to lure out an unsub.

“Hey, hey, hey,” Morgan interrupted, holding his hands up. “The unsub just violently murdered a woman a hundred feet from where we’re standing, and we’re seriously talking about sending Prentiss undercover? What happened to ‘no one goes out alone’?”
Rossi looked at him. “Not alone, no. That wouldn’t work. He watches his victims for at least a few days, and only targets women that he knows fits his type. Prentiss would need a partner.”
All eyes in the room went to JJ.
