The house in the forest is peaceful, town's a fair distance away, and he's got no neighbours...except maybe a blue-eyed wolf and possibly a naked guy named Steve.

"I thought Halloween was October 31st…?” said Bucky, peering over at the kitchen calendar to check. “Yeah, it’s October 31st.”
“Ignore the calendar,” Sam ordered Bucky. “Halloween is a month-long holiday if you do it right!”
After years of missing out on Halloween with his nephews, Sam was determined to do Halloween right this year. If that meant coaxing Bucky into joining the Halloween celebrations too, complete with a Wilson family group costume, so much the better. The fact that this would involve spending a lot of time sharing all the wonders of the Halloween season with Bucky was just a fun benefit that definitely didn't have anything to do with Sam's growing feelings for his partner and housemate.
