Summary
Peter hunched it back into place quickly, muttering, “Seriously—did New York get a redesign while we weren’t looking? Because this place is…way too Batman-y.”
“Not New York,” Bucky said, voice flat.
“No kidding,” Peter said, half to himself. He shifted, wincing faintly at the bruises blooming under his hoodie. “So what’s the plan? We got no Stark, no Strange, no Avengers…just us. And, you know, a very questionable Uber service through reality.”
Or; Peter and Bucky in Gotham.
Or Or; I went down the Peter in Gotham rabbit hole and Bucky is there ‘cause I can and he’s the best.

Summary
After Peter Parker, gets saved from a few too many kidnappings by Deadpool, people who have unconventional interests in the mercenary catch on to the fact that the photographer makes pretty good bait.
Some light life upending ensues.
Basically I couldn't stop laughing about the idea that the 'Peter Parker getting kidnapped' trope would lead to The Daily Bugle having to give Peter hazard pay or it would make their insurance insane. And thus I am here to provide Absolute Crack, taken absolutely seriously.

“I’m so good at finding things, you could call me Sherlock Holmes.”
“Oh really?” Spidey replied, his lips curling into that teasing little smirk that made Wade's stomach do a summersault.
“Really,” Wade said, straightening his shoulders in confidence. “Name anything, and I bet I can find it within two weeks.”
Spidey gave him a long, amused look — then, casually said “My identity.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One night on patrol Peter accidentally challenges Wade to find his identity, but Peter is always careful so things should be fine.
Luckly for Wade he just so happens to find the perfect lead, Peter Parker, Spider-Man's own photographer.
Now with the perfect John Watson to his Sherlock Holmes he should be able to find that reclusive spider's identity, right? -
