Crimson red pooled on the floor like the scarlet strings of fate being undone; a future lost by one mistake. The red diluted by water dripping in from the skies above as rain poured down. The fierce rain drenched everything unsheltered like consuming it whole and leaving nothing left. Purple with red, it would have been beautiful without its context. Thunder booms in the background, triumphant in its win; if only that victory was what was hoped by its ruler. Two people were motionless, as if they were statues, on a rooftop. Blood pooled around them in a haunting scene. Perhaps, both of them had died, just one physically and another mentally from mourning. It was dead silence apart from the pitter-patter of the rain and the rumbling of the thunder.

My thoughts...
Certainly a refreshing take on the characters of Yakuza. I like it a lot.
Only thing I dislike here so far is this fic taking a while to update, but honestly at this quality I'm not complaining.
(Feb 20: Just noticed autocorrect messed this up. Fixed. Try not to write this stuff on a smartphone keyboard...)
