Summary
Nightwing is working on tying up loose ends for a case he worked on with Batman, Red Robin, and Red Hood. The only mistake that Dick truly made was working on the case while he was at M’gann and Conner’s house for a get together between the old Team: Dick, Kaldur, M’gann, Conner, and Artemis. M’gann says that it would be a wonderful idea if they went together like old times. Everyone agrees and the “mission” is going smoothly until the creature that jumped them activates a device mid-fight and is that 13 year old Robin over there!!
Or Dick, Kaldur, M’gann, Conner, and Artemis, months after the events of Season 4, get teleported into the past after a creature that jumped them in a warehouse activates a device and meet the Young Justice team in year 1 (but after New Years) and have to find their way back home.

Summary
A plan was set in motion. If one was to fail to bring about the beginning of chaos, the mere presence of the other should do just fine.
A ripped timeline here and a shortened one there should do the trick. It's such a shame it had to start out this way.
After all, destiny will always provide Sun WuKong an heir. Two of them shouldn't be too hard to handle.
