“Ryu? What’s the matter?” Sanji puts the apple slices down. “Is there something wrong?”
“Um…Sanji, um,” Ryu’s voice is small, meek and hesitant in a way Sanji hasn’t heard in a long, long time. “I have, um, I have…for you. Um. I want, um, I…”
Sanji crouches down to get closer to Ryu’s eye-level. “Hey, it’s okay. You know you can tell me anything, right?”
Ryu nods his head and shuffles his feet, toeing at a small crease in the tiles of Sanji’s kitchen floor. “…I know.”
“Then, what’s up? What do you—”
“HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!” Ryu blurts out. He shoves something at Sanji, a paper of some sort, and squeezes his eyes shut, his chin pressed tightly against his chest as if he’s bracing for impact.
Sanji blinks. Blinks again. He takes the paper from Ryu’s trembling hands and looks down at it.
There, held loosely between his fingers, is a Mother’s Day card.

Summary
The Strawhats find themselves stuck on the idyllic island of Fallenfast, forced to wait a whole month before the log pose will reset. Despite this the crew has made best of the situation and have made fast friends of the island's populace. Zoro is more than ready to head back to the open sea. Having had his fill of fights and booze, he felt the last week may just feel like the longest of his life. He's right of course.
A womanizing cook, a wedding and a heart shaped flower will ensure this last week on this island will be one Zoro could never forget. And one he would never want to.
