New Requiem is considered top real estate now that the war is over. It has a state-of-the-art robot network, efficient city planning, and clean air.
Which is great for humans, but it's V2's job to keep all of that secure. And between a shitty handler yelling in its ear and one man's empire of illegal robot mods, that's looking increasingly difficult. But it's nothing that V2 can't handle. What is it if not useful, after all?

How its views of murder started as a attempt at survival with a bitter aftertaste of guilt, then mercy killing for a world constantly in torment, and finally a last goodbye to a life. A goodbye that deserved to be beautiful in its own broken way.
When it finally dies a cold, lonely death in the icy depths of treachery… it found itself somewhere completely new.

Summary
Its descent began with a burst of light, then a streak of flames ripping across the sky, then a shockwave, before finally slamming into the earth. The impact it made was comparable to the largest of bombs. Scorched trees, dirt uplifted, and a pillar of smoke. Meter-long runes were branded into the earth around the crater, their meaning unknown but having close similarity to runes used in the worship of demonic entities. Specifically, the worship of Abaddon.
In the centre of it all, kneeling around ash and dirt was a machine of blue and yellow.
It slowly rose.
Then was immediately shot, immobilised, and contained.
