Two, it always pays to have someone I trust at my back — what if I’m attacked by a wild boar or bees or something? Three, your heavenly standing has dropped because you’re too inactive! You obviously need the merits so, really, I'm doing you a favour by sharing this. Four—"
“Enough,” Ming Yi said because there would be no stopping him otherwise. “This is barely a mission. I’m not doing it.”
“...I’ll treat you to dinner.” At Ming Yi’s pause, Shi Qingxuan quickly added, “Anything you want! All you can eat, no time limit—”
“...Fine,” Ming Yi agreed shortly.

Shi Qingxuan instinctively recoils from the oppressive aura surrounding the Ghost King, which he flares around himself like an unspoken warning, a clear threat. He winces as if burned by ice. It’s getting impossibly hard to breath. A drowning sensation, like water filling up his lungs and squeezing every ounce of air out of them. It takes Shi Qingxuan a moment to realise, that it is actually his very own tears he is chocking on.

Summary
Shi Qingxuan had heard about pirates and the ferocity that led them to kill and plunder villages and ports, but never, in his short life of twenty years, did he expect to witness all of these things firsthand.
He Xuan is a violent pirate captain with a vendetta against Shi Wudu, so he decides to take it out on Shi Qingxuan instead.

“Now can I take Mister Feng away or is the process still a little tricky?” He Xuan asked again.
