He’s gonna treat Vinnie with an endless supply of chewing gums because he can’t go on like this. He can’t. He’s watching him like a damn perv every time they meet, which is every given day, and he feels his blood pressure skyrocket every single time Vin picks up a lolly from his pocket and puts it in his mouth.
And if Tommo thought that seeing Vinnie suck on those blasted things was bad, he still has to experience what happens when Vin gets mad and has one of those lollies in his mouth.

“I’m just worried. I don’t think you’re doing well”.
The anger was gone from Louis’ voice and that hurt even more. It made Lestat believe things could be different this time and they could go back to what they once had. He could almost hear Claudia laughing at his foolishness.
“It was a rough night, that’s all” Lestat replied, the fight also gone from him. “It happens. We are old creatures”.
“What was the nightmare about?” Louis sighed when silence was his only answer. “You won’t tell me, of course. Even after all this time, you will still keep your secrets”.
No, Lestat thought tiredly, I will never tell you because that would shatter the image of the monster you have in your head and replace it with something worse and more pathetic. Because you will leave me again, as you always do, and I can’t take it anymore.
“Goodbye, Louis” he said instead, closing the door behind him.
Or Lestat talks about Magnus during his interview and he can't keep avoiding his issues anymore. He is certainly going to try as hard as he can though.

“I-I don’t understand?” Lestat said his voice was small and weak. “What are we doing in the hall? I-I”
“Baby.” Louis said with comfort. “You were walking around, trying to open the door. You weren’t answering me, you really freaked me out. I need you to tell me what happened.”
Lestat’s breath began to quicken the same way it did when an anxiety attack began to smother him, spurred on by Louis mounting stress.
“I don’t- I don’t remember.” He said, punctuated with gasps
