Summary
After seven years, Bucky is thrilled to finally get his best friend out on the ice. Steve’s been content to watch from the bleachers, idly sketching the goings-on, but recent heart eyes directed at Bucky have him needing to up his game. He may end up falling on his face on the ice, but at least Bucky will be there to pick him up instead of letting some girl fawn all over him.

Summary
It’s only when they’re on opposite sides of the country attending University that our beloved boneheads realise how head over heels for each other they are. It’s true, after all, that you never know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone.
Steve’s pining from New York, terrified to make a move and lose the person that means the most to him, while Bucky’s been planning a birthday present to himself– one that’s been over a decade in the making. Will Bucky have the courage after all? Will Steve risk the possible loss to see if Bucky feels the same way he does?

Summary
Bucky did nothing wrong here. A little playful pre-dick banter that maybe led to him making the comment that topping requires less effort and skill than the other option – and now this. And okay, maybe Bucky had doubled down on it and gotten a little overconfident about his perceived abilities to take Steve’s usual role. So what?

Summary
Natasha stops by on a Tuesday, early enough in the morning that it would have been late by Steve’s old standards. Now, though, it takes him nearly three minutes just to limp to the door, yawning, and when he opens it he has to lean heavily on the doorframe.
“Hi,” Natasha says, over the beginnings of birdsong. She’s not alone. “Can we come in?”
