Summary
It's the mid-late 1990's and Eddie owns a mechanic garage/tow truck service with his Uncle Wayne. Reader is an artist who gets a flat tire on the freeway, and the rest is kismet. Lots of sexual tension, biker bad boy Eddie with a soft heart, both not sure how to navigate this adult crush they have on each other, amidst other complications. In this au, Hawkins is going through gentrification and is booming with bars/restaurants/galleries. It's a small town, but also a metropolis; thank god for creative license. Eddie still plays with Corroded Coffin, but not as often, and some of the band members are different. Appearances by biker Steve Harrington, uncle Wayne, and eventually some other ST characters. With a sprinkle of inspiration for SOA fans to enjoy, though I don't go into serious detail about their ranks, etc, it's mostly an image for the sake of the story. Mention of 90's music and nostalgia. Inspired by the song and music video "I'm on Fire" by Bruce Springsteen.
