Summary
Anyone who saw Vi and Caitlyn would think they’re together. They’re always together, hands linked, and Caitlyn’s legs placed over Vi’s. Their heads are so close you’d think they’re sharing loving words in between little pecks.
But in reality they're so far from that; if you’d ask, they’d say they are best friends, but you know that that’s far from the truth.
If you could be in their minds, you’d see the longing, the pain they inflict upon themselves, being so close but so very far from what they truly want.
To be eachothers, someone. But some things come in due time; sometimes you need a liile push to go for what you truly want to leave your comfort zone.
Or: in which vi and caitlyn are both gamers playing a brand new gacha game called wuthering waves. Caitlyn is advanced in the game but vi is still stuck and puts a note on her account asking for help. Caitlyn sees it and joins her world thinking she'd be there for an hour and leave for good, what comes from that is a relatipnship she has been hoping for but to scared to to try.

Nihilux ignored her. “You’ve spent a great amount of time worrying about Akivili.”
Stelle stiffened. “I… I just had questions.”
Nihilux turned toward her, “I find it charming that you’re jealous of yourself.”

After Nihilux reveals themselves as Aha, Stelle makes the terrible decision to look up their history with Akivili.
