Summary
This is a repost of my work from a previous AO3 account I deleted. I decided to continue this story.
When a newly changed Jaskier is kidnapped to Kaer Morhen via portal by a certain purple eyed sorceress, everything will go belly up. Jaskier will meet the wolves, truths will come to light, feelings will be had, words will be had.
But worst of all, Jaskier has been selected as Champion by Destiny. In order to save the witchers, Ciri and even Yennefer, Jaskier must play Destiny and win for a chance to change their future for the better, and to break the fake bond between Yennefer and Geralt. Will Jaskier win? Will they be able to focus on the Game instead of newly revealed truths? Will Geralt realise how much Jaskier loves him? Knows him? What will become of Yennefer, the witchers and Ciri if Jaskier doesn't win? Will Jaskier be able to exert his self control both in manners of the heart, as well as his powers? What about the Game?

“What is this?”, Geralt asks, voice strong, strong, strong and no longer strained with pain, strained with death, “my love, what have you done?”
His blood is drying brownish red against their skin, so dark against the farbic of Jaskier’s ruined chemise and trousers that it looks almost black – but the skin beneath his torn armour and shirt is smooth, whole, undamaged.
“Don’t hate me”, Jaskier whispers, not daring to meet his witcher’s eye now that it’s done and his blood is no longer thrumming with panic and pain, now that his glamour has washed away with the words, “o gods, please don’t hate me, I couldn’t let you go, I couldn’t-“
“Jaskier”, Geralt cuts him off, voice gentle and low but Jaskier can’t hear anything over this new bound of panic, this worse type of fear, “What did you do?”
“I gave you my life”
Jaskier almost laughs as he says it, although it might be tears rather than laughter that roughen up his voice as he speaks.

Geralt nearly dies in Jaskier's arms. Jaskier saves him and they move on from there. (Can be read as standalone)

Summary
Jaskier looks into the mirror. Julian of Cintra stares back at him, and there is almost nothing of Jaskier in that reflection. Gone is the bard who’d wowed the Continent with his songs, and Jaskier grieves for the loss, heart heavy and aching.
He’d managed to discover what he would have been had he not been a witcher, but he will never have it again. Returning to the Path will be painful, knowing that he will once again be rejected by humans, and it leaves a hollowness in Jaskier as he realises that he will no longer be loved. Not anymore.

Before Jaskier the bard was born, there was Julian of Cintra, a witcher tired of his life on the Path. Julian gets the life he wants and lives four decades as Jaskier, until he’s forced to return to his life as Julian after the dragon hunt.
As he struggles to reconcile his two identities, Julian finds Geralt and Ciri, and slowly lets himself trust again.
