Summary
From my tumblr blog scarfacemarston. These are a lot of meta posts of either topics I felt needed to be analyzed or were questions I received by request. Feel free to request more subjects through here or my tumblr.
I'm also a historian with specialties in the history of medicine and the history of sex work. I work as a historian and these are some of the requests I've received over time or subjects I thought might be interesting to write about.
I can provide sources for historical writings. As for my metas, these are my arguments based on evidence. However, you do not need to agree with me, and that is okay.These include questions like

Summary
“You don't eat, Mister?”
John looked up to the voice, startled despite himself - he should know better than to let his guard down, really. He was met with the sight of a young man, long brown hair hanging around the hard angle of his face, dark brown eyes staring at him. His dark mustache was split in the middle, but also a bit on the left, a hole left by a scar. He had both a soul patch and a goatee, which looked slightly strange, in John's opinion. The man was wearing a beige and dusty coat that went past his hips, above a leather gunbelt, a Mauser in the holster. There was a red bandana stripped with white around his neck hiding the collar of a white shirt.
John could tell just by looking in his eyes that the boy had seen too much too fast. There was also something strangely familiar about him, but John couldn't pinpoint what.
“Do I know you?” he asked instead of answering.
“Uh, no,” the boy replied with unease. “But I know you. You won't eat that?”

Summary
A stolen horse, a bar fight, a horse ride through the woods. Three times Jack meets the stranger named Isaac, who vaguely reminds him of someone he knew a long time ago. Jacks life is odd, he doesn’t know what to do with himself after the murder of Ross, Isaac is there to pull him from the mud.

“Now this here is Boadecia,” Dutch announced, stopping a safe distance away from a dark bay mare who pinned her ears at him. Charles followed his example.
“She recently won a three-star, put on quite a sho—” The man paused and stepped forward, putting a hand up to block Boadecia’s head when she tried to bite him. He sighed. “Arthur has got to quit sleeping in her stall.”
Charles stepped forward, following his gaze.

Summary
