    Twenty-four minutes.

    It takes Dick twenty-four minutes to locate Damian after his distress beacon goes off. Twenty-four painful, oxygen-less minutes in which anything could be happening to his little brother.

    He lands in the sewers and the smell hits first, acrid and bitter. A puddle of dark, black-blue water splashes underfoot and he glances down the long hallways with a narrowed stare.

    Tim Drake is a university student who needs more sleep and a lot more coffee. He is staying up to do school work. And now on top of all of that and something else that he should not be doing, he finds a child bleeding out in an alley, and he's emotionally attached already. yay.

    LETS GIVE THE EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE-BARELY-ADULT THE POWER TO ADOPT!!! SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT PLAN!!!
