“So you live here all by yourself? From what I hear you haven’t left in over two years.” Harry asked.
“There’s been no reason to leave.” Draco sighed.
“But if there were a reason, you’d be able to?”
“I’m not agoraphobic, if that’s what you’re asking.” Draco shook his head a little at the insinuation. He could leave at any time; he just didn’t want to.
“It’s not exactly what I had in mind when I asked the Wizengamot to pardon you.”
“What would you have me do? Walk the streets of Diagon Alley and make myself an easy target for anyone who might feel the need to punch an ex-Death Eater?”
“It does seem a fitting retribution.”
Draco rolled his eyes. “You could skip the middle-man and have a go at me here, is that what you want?”
Harry sighed, “No, that’s not what I want.”
"What do you want from me?” Draco eyed him with suspicion. Last he had heard, Harry was in Auror training. Could he be here on business? He wasn’t in uniform, but Draco couldn’t think of a single reason for Harry to show up on his doorstep out of the blue.
“I told you. I want a conversation. You owe me at least that, after everything.” -

So he keeps his mouth shut about what he might actually believe and tows the family line. What good would he be able to do anyway? That was the plan at least until James came along.
