Or in autumn, so the wind would’ve carried away the sounds of his limping feet as he dragged them along.But the odds had never been in Sirius’s favour, and life was never waiting for a fortunate moment.
Neither was his mother.

___Or: Running from his mother’s wrath, Sirius ended up with the wolves.
Sirius had to deal with having been the prey, as Remus struggled with having been the hunter.
While it all broke apart, there was still one thing Sirius had to focus on:
