Chaos lives in each of us.
Like the river in the gorge, it can nourish us even as it shapes our lands.
Like the fire of the hearth, it can consume our hearts but also brightens our homes.
Like the stars above, it can fill our heads with wonder, yet reminds us how small we are.As the river thunders and rushes without care for us, so does Chaos embolden us: a fount of speed and force.
As the hearth nurtures and warms, so does Chaos blaze within us: a furnace of strength and spirit.
As the stars twinkle in their journeys, so does Chaos dance and taunt us: the mysteries of time and the insight to unravel them.But we must never try to control Chaos, only ourselves in it's wake. Without exercising restraint, Chaos could destroy us all.
We must remember that Chaos has control all it's own.

Summary
This is a collection of my Alternate Universe stor(y/ies) centered around a world called Mobius where humans arrived a little less than 200 years previous, and most of the typical characters are unaware of Chaos energy or have any obvious superpowers (at first).
It's probably gonna end up with low-key sentai/magical girl/superhero vibes but it's a homosexual old time.

(Un-)Fortunately, Sonic has the time show him around the place, which turns out to be a bigger help than Shadow would've ever thought. Now if only that didn't also make it harder for the hybrid to keep up his prickly walls that he's set up ever since that one fateful encounter with Sonic on the lily field...
Perhaps Sonic has been right all along and he should be more honest with himself.
As Shadow struggles, he quickly discovers that Sonic is hiding some secrets of his own.

In Sonic's little world of Green Hills, Montana he’d come to understand humans as basically good. Some of them were Eggman, but most of them were Toms and Maddies and Crazy Carls.
And now there was GUN. Who’d committed an atrocity against Shadow beyond what Sonic thought possible. Instead of making amends for their past, they wanted its sole witness silenced.
“The doctors let me sleep in a real bed, eat real food instead of getting nutrient injections, watch movies and go outside to look at the stars. Because Maria fought for me to have good things.”

Summary
Set just under a decade after the events of Sonic the movie 3, a few years after Sonic Prime. Shadow is trying to build his own future out of his shattered past. He's done the therapy, he's going to school and working. It's not much yet, but it's good. He bonds with Sonic, who is struggling to figure out what he wants for himself as all of his friends are moving on with their own lives. They find they have more in common than they expected.
This fic is completely written. I am posting as I edit.

Summary
With his closest friends scattered to the four winds, Sonic struggles to come to terms with everything that happened to him on the Starfall Islands. One trauma brings up another, then another, until everything is spiraling out of control.
The one person to pull him out of his spiral is, surprisingly, the last person he would ever expect help from: Shadow. Unlike Sonic, Shadow is not struggling with his mental health, and he has to wonder just how he came to be this way. When Shadow tells him, Sonic decides to try working through everything too.
But it’s hard. So, so hard. Every day feels like he’s at a crossroads: sink or swim. The comfort of his unhealthy coping mechanisms versus the possibility that he can finally make peace with his past, just like Shadow has. He doesn't know if he's strong enough to make the right choice.
