Forty years before the start of the series, one Ravenclaw student decided that she will bring muggle technology into the wizarding world, by force if needed.
Today, Harry enters a world of magic and... social media and texting, apparently. Kind of takes away from the fantasy. Wizards and witches started to use electronics in areas of magic, making the world a much easier place to be in. But while Harry and his friends concern themselves with their studies and homework, there are people who would still plunge the wizarding world into the Dark Ages, namely pure-blood supremacists. On top of that, Harry must deal with being the Boy-Who-Lived and all that title brings. Voldemort may be gone, but not forever. The scene would never leave him.
The whimpering sounds of Harry's pleading– begging– as he chanted Sirius’ name, a prayer spoken in pure desire.
The rough echoing timber of Sirius’ voice calling out Harry’s name through a litany of sinful praises and sweet words of love.
They echoed in Remus’ ears like a chorus before reality came down hard upon them.
Remus’ only thought upon seeing the sight before him was a single question: How did I not know?

“You are an interesting one”, an ominous voice sounded and Harry swirled around with a start. It was a tall figure, completely covered in robes, that shone in any shade of white, grey and black.
"Why?", Harry asked cautiously.
The figure kept silent. Harry searched in his brain for any information, that could help him with this. How could he know who this was? – He didn’t even know where he was! But… maybe he did. He died, he was pretty sure of it. And none of those who he had known when he was alive were under that hood, he was sure of it.
And suddenly a thought came to his mind. It was silly, really. Nothing more than a child’s fantasy. Fiction. – Although maybe it was as much fiction as he had once thought magic to be.Or: Harry Potter dies when Voldemort hits him with the killing curse in the forest and meets Death. They tell him he has to make a choice, that he can go back - years back to his first year in Hogwarts, with all his memories intact.
