It sounded ludicrous even to herself—Ryuuen-kun and Ayanokouji-kun somehow being… involved?—Horikita could understand and admit that.
It wasn’t as though she had a lot of evidence to support her theory, but…there were some moments she observed that were just too odd to be nothing. No matter how crazy it sounded, her intuition told her that there definitely was something between the two.
And, if this… relationship had the potential to hinder their class, well then, it was only right for Horikita, as the de facto leader, to get involved and investigate.
Or, 5 times Horikita was suspicious of the relationship between Ryuuen and Ayanokouji + 1 time she knew exactly what they were.

A hidden fault or an unnoticed imbalance in the blade of a sword can be the difference between life and death on the battlefield. A blacksmith is careful with such things, watchful and alert during the forging of a weapon. There can be no imperfections. Certainly not if the weapon is a gift for the Lady of Death and her angel.
Technoblade's trainers know this, and they shape him to be perfect.

OR, child Techno is trained to be a living weapon and is given to Phil and Kristin, who don't realize that he is very much sentient. This causes problems.
