Summary
Amy Rose lives in an impoverished mining town outside of a major city. Times are hard as famine plagues the land, and with a child on the way, Amy feels forced to do the unthinkable.
A nobleman and vampire, Shadow saves her from herself on the stipulation that she becomes a blood servant to him. Shadow is a picky eater and prefers his blood happy and healthy.
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are in town on a mission, requested to them by Vanilla, concerning the whereabouts of her long missing daughter Cream. As vampire hunters they travel town to town eradicating the blood drinkers that have taken root.
While these three make an amazing team, Sonic has a secret that may put the three in jeopardy when Silver joins the hunt.

Amy Rose has spent the better part of her life chasing after someone who doesn't want her, and she spends most of her time now reshaping her ideas of what provides her comfort, and what is worth throwing herself into. Lately, it's been her work, and her developing friendships. Of course, she's always loved love. Reconciling that with a hedgehog that is the complete opposite of the boy she'd always ran after, one who is more assured of what he wants but more afraid to ask, and who has already slipped his way under her heart's shoddily crafted walls, is a lot more difficult than she expected.
