Summary
Yang's always known that Blake has this voice that'll take her away from this sleepy town by the coast; she's a father's daughter, one that sits by the pier and sings her songs to the one person that'll listen. Someone she's found that'll only speak when spoken to. Who has thick, calloused hands that earn their keep hauling rope and traps from the sea. It's bittersweet, growing up and praying that you're enough to keep her from leaving; from when they're older but none the wiser, it was careless of her to think that the end was bearable.
These heavy hands stay the same, the smell of salt and brine stay no matter how many times she washes them; they lay by Yang's sides quietly as she watches the one that got away - singing a love song to someone that isn't her.

Scandals - the downfall of every Rockstar. The media can spin a tale however they want, with their favorite rising rock bands taking the country by storm. But the Vytal Festival brings new players to the game, and no one plays fair in a scene like this - egos through the roof, with threats spit with every lyric; the best of the best congregate to drag each other down to ruin.
So when a paparazzi's picture gone wrong brings a rivalry Blake and Yang must maintain, they'll gladly play the frontmen of the hottest rising rock bands that butt horns on the final stage - it was never going to end pretty, but they'd never have it any other way.

They call her a monster - at least, that's what the 4 o'clock news says when another murder victim is found. And maybe they're right, but they're far from understanding, and even farther from catching her.
For Yang, its all about the bait, the battle, the games. It's boring when the police are far behind so she gets reckless for the thrill, and attracts the attention of the one person that can give her the game she's been seeking this whole time; Blake, a notorious private investigator who's only objective in life is to chase - whether it be criminals or not - has finally found her perfect target.
Maybe they're insane, and perfect for each other in their own crazy, gruesome way. The exhilaration, the smell of fresh blood, the thud of a knife that plants itself in the wood of the door an inch beside your head. Its the final game, one that will only end when one of them is dead.
