Jace decides to check on him, which leads to getting caught up in the mad inventor's project and an adventure he could never have expected.

Summary
Tommy looks at the ceiling with stars in his eyes. He thinks of Tubbo and how much he misses him, and that kid from the ice-cream shop, Wilbur, and his brother and their sad smiles. He thinks of how much of a cool dad Phil must be to let his kids swear in front of him, and he wishes he could swear in front of Dream, or just breathe without being smacked around.
Tommy knows this isn't how people are supposed to treat their foster kids but maybe he's like one of Pavlov's dogs, because when the hand on his hair is gentle enough, he's been trained to understand that means the punishment is over. Dream is letting him off easy and he starts to patch up his injuries and this - this is the reward, and Tommy's stuttered apologies come naturally.
He's a fighter most of the time; just maybe not today.

After Running away two years ago from yet another crappy foster home Wilbur, Techno and Tommy find themselves on the streets with no where to go. But hey, at least they have each other.

Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are already brothers and then Phil finds them in his shed and decides they are his sons.

aka Phil found 3 boys in his shed and now that they're legally his responsibility he has to find a way to be a good father. Which isn't easy when they're all traumatized. Basically 101 unhealthy ways to deal with trauma and 102 ways to do your best but always feel like it's not enough.Obviously this is not about the actual people, if they want it taken down though it will be immediately.

As much as Technoblade loved his long pink hair, he did not know how to take care of it. It was always clean and it generally smelled good if it wasn't redolent with blood. But he never managed to put it up in the right way, and Phil didn't know how to deal with such a long hair.
Good thing his brother, who had picked up other hyper fixation recently, was really interested in hairdressing.

Honestly, he looked like a child struggling to reach his next birthday on his own. In an oversized, faded sweater, with bruises on his forearms, and a still unhealed, split lip, he definitely didn't resemble the little terrorist Phil had carefully guarded all sharp objects from. More like a victim of a natural disaster. As if he had spent hours on the roof escaping a flood, only to be carried away by a tornado.
But burying the knives was still a good idea. The kid seemed to trip over while making a sandwich."
Or: Phil feel ready to become a foster family.
Spoiler: He's not ready.Less of plot and more of feelings. Also, fuck canon!Dadza! I want Phil to be a good dad!
